Christopher Bowers, Jr. - Sheeler High School

Chris lives Martin Luther King’s legacy by advocating for peace and showing mutual respect for all. He is a model student with a record of academic accomplishments, including the A/B honor roll. He is considerate and eager to learn.

In less than a year he has earned a NCCR certification and is well on his way to become a licensed CAN by graduation. He has amassed 60 community service activities through assisting with food drives and local churches. He assists seniors in his neighborhood with mowing their lawns. He is an ambassador at Sheeler and believes volunteering helps to eliminate social bias in our society.

Christopher’s favorite MLK quote is: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.”

Future Goals: Christopher wants to attend FAMU and study agriculture.
