City Hall and non-essential city services are closed Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Residential trash pick up on Monday will occur as usual.
Rain is a student who embodies the word fortitude and behaves as a role model and leader on and off campus, always carrying herself with dignity, and never lowering her standards. Rain has maintained her high academic standards earning a place in the top 5% of her graduating class and has gained membership in the National Honor Society where she currently serves as the president. Rain has found a true balance when it comes to her academics and extracurricular.
Rain is a trailblazer, the voice of change for our future generation. Feeling compelled to make a difference in her hometown of Ocoee and promote social change, Rain recently started a petition to rename a city street associated with a history of racism. Rain is constantly in search of innovative ways to advocate for her generation and make a change within her community resulting in her involvement in many community youth programs.
Future Plans: Rain plans to attend either Florida State University or The Howard University, with hopes to one day enter in the legal profession focusing on sports/entertainment law.
