Lavibia Dumpson/Lala - Acceleration Academy West

Lala is a dependable, competent self-starter whose ongoing initiatives demonstrate what it means to be inclusive, community driven and resourceful. As the secretary of Acceleration West National Honor Society and as an active member of her community Lala upholds a standard of excellence everywhere she goes. Her fun and loving spirit makes her a joy to be around, and her positive nature helps bring out the best in others. She believes serving her community is important because she feels that you should do what is right. Lala not only models the legacy of Dr. King, but she is also building the foundation of what will one day be a legacy of her own.

Future Plans: Lala’s future goal is to be a Counseling Psychologist and would love to start her collegiate career at UCF, FSU or USF.
