Dayron Rojas Ordonez - Colonial High School

Leader, tenacious, and advocate are the first words that come to mind when one thinks of Dayron. Dayron is a self-started leader that you just do not forget. Dayron exemplifies all of the qualities the great Dr. Martin Luther died for and fights for others selflessly. He stands for initiatives that he is not directly impacted by but understands the impact it has on the student body. 

As the Student Body President, he was instrumental in being a voice against discrimination towards people of color and the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, as a My School Votes (MSV) Ambassador with When We All Vote, Dayron co-led a team of 107 students to help register or pre-register individuals to vote that come from disenfranchised, low socioeconomic status, high POC percentage communities in Orange County.

Future Plans: Dayron plans to attend Columbia University and hopes to enter the legal profession one day.
