Mr. and Miss PKZ/HHKZ Application

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

• Be a Senior at Jones High School
• Rosen Eligible
• Have a minimum of 3 years of active participation in the Parramore Kidz Zone or Holden Heights Kidz Zone.
• Participation in multiple zone programs.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Be in good disciplinary standing at school and within the Kidz Zone program.
• Submit a complete application and participate in the full selection process.
• Must be able to serve for the full reign.

Selection Process:

The selection process will include the following stages:

Application Submission
Includes GPA verification, written essay, and a resume or activity list.

Interview Round
Panel interview with staff, alumni, and community representatives.

Student Responsibilities:

Winners of Mr. & Miss PKZ / HHKZ will:

• Term runs from October 2025 until August 2026
• Serve as Youth Ambassadors for the City of Orlando’s Kidz Zone programs.
• Represent PKZ / HHKZ at:
  • Local parades
  • City Council recognitions
  • Community service events
  • Back-to-school events
  • Graduations and open houses

• Give speeches and welcome remarks at select events.
• Serve as a mentor and role model to younger Kidz Zone participants.
• Participate in promotional and social media content for the City of Orlando.
