WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyerwill join District 5 Interim City Commissioner Shaniqua “Shan” Rose andstudent entrepreneurs for the "Bee Part of the Celebration" event to mark Black Bee Honey’s continuedpartnership with The Grand Bohemian. This event marks five years since the introduction of the renowned Black Bee Honey Orange BlossomCheesecake with honeycomb waffle crisp at The Boheme restaurant, which has supported local youth through the Parramore and Holden Heights Kidz Zones.
Executive Chef Miguel Toro will continue this tradition with the introduction of an expanded test menu witha focus on sustainability and locally sourced ingredients, like Black Bee Honey. At the event, attendees will be able to sample newitems that may be featured at the hotel.
Menu Highlights Include:
- Summer Watermelon Salad
- Goat Cheese Croquettes
- Pork Belly Sliders
- Bees Knees Signature Cocktail
Purchases from the new menu will helpbenefit Orlando Kidz Zones and support student entrepreneurs through scholarships. Black Bee Honey is ayouth entrepreneur program where students learn both business and beekeeping skills to make, bottle and sell honey in the Parramore neighborhood and beyond. This event furthersthe city’s commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs by providing opportunities grow valuable skills through collaborations with local businesses.
