Let's show our gratitude this Thanksgiving for our beautiful parks and lakes. Join us for a cleanup and give back with us! George Barker Park Monday, November 23, 2026 9 - 11 a.m. Volunteers will be helping collect litter throughout George Barker Park, lake shore, and surrounding roadways. Meet at the pavilion next to the parking lot to sign in. Safety talk and supplies distribution will start at 9 a.m. Please note there are 2 parking lots and street parking available. All materials provided include vests, pickers, gloves, trash bags. Please wear comfortable clothing, close-toed shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle to help us reduce waste!
We will also be accepting donations for United Against Poverty's emergency food pantry. See below for a list of the most useful donation items.
