Do you want to host a block party in your neighborhood?
The City of Orlando requires permits for neighborhood events that will impede a city roadway. Note: Personal parties are not eligible. A Block Party Permit is for residential use only, involving gatherings among neighbors in the community.

Permits must be requested at least two weeks in advance of the event. You must create or log into your Eproval account to complete an application. If multiple people need to stay informed throughout the application process, use an email address that they all have access to.

We will review your application.
When prompted, you can pay the permit processing fee.
Note: Fees for National Night Out Block Parties are covered by the Orlando Police Department.
All block party applicants will need to gather signatures from neighbors who will be impacted by the street closure. Print and complete the resident survey(PDF, 110KB). Before the permit is approved, we’ll need signatures on the resident survey from the majority of the affected households.
When your permit is approved, we will email it to you.
