City of Orlando Facilities Closing Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Due to Hurricane Dorian
August 30, 2019 – ORLANDO, FL – Due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Dorian, the City of Orlando’s non-essential offices and services, including City Hall, will close on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. The previously scheduled Orlando City Council meeting has been canceled. Items scheduled to be heard at the canceled Tuesday, September 3, 2 p.m. Orlando City Council meeting have been moved to the next scheduled meeting on Monday, September 16, 2019, at 2 p.m.
The city’s Tuesday, September 3, 2019, 5:01 p.m. Budget Hearing has also been canceled. The first Budget Hearing will be heard on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 5:01 p.m., with the second Budget Hearing rescheduled for Monday, September 25, 2019 at 5:01 p.m.
