Are you a victim of identity theft or fraud?
Report identity theft and fraud to the Orlando Police Department so you have a record for future needs, and to help us investigate crimes in the area.
Many agencies have been set up to investigate certain types of fraud.
If one of these fits your situation, you should contact that agency instead of OPD.
Keep in mind you do not need to file a police report with us if you are contacting one of these agencies.
If none of these fit your situation, proceed to the next step.
You can file a report with the Orlando Police Department if the crime you experienced is not as described above, and either:

If you are outside Orlando city limits, please check with your local jurisdiction. If you live in Orange County, you can report to OCSO online.

You can report identity theft for yourself or your business. If you're helping someone file a report, please have their ID information ready, as well as your own.
Report Identity Theft or Fraud
Your report will be assigned a receipt number, which you will receive by email. If any additional information is required, a detective may contact you.
If your online report is rejected, we will email you with the reason. If your report is approved, we will email you a permanent case number.
