Request to Host a Special Event at Bill Frederick Park

Do you want to host your event at Bill Frederick Park?

The park can accommodate limited sized festivals, fundraisers, 5K’s and other events.

Keep in mind: 

  • Submitting a reservation request is not a guarantee a date will be available.
  • Reservations must be paid in full to secure the event date.


Step 1.Gather your information

To get started, we will need to know:

  • Type of event
  • Desired date(s)
  • Number of people expected to attend

Step 2.Complete an Event Request Form

Step 3.A park staff member will be in touch with you

If approved, staff will prepare a fee estimate and payment instructions for your event.

Step 4.Make a payment

A payment must be made to secure your event. Details will be in the correspondence with the park staff member. 

Step 5.Provide all required information

Depending on the event, additional documentation may be required.

Step 6.Secure all required permits

Depending on the event, permits may be required.

Keep in mind: 

  • Reservations must be paid in full to secure the event date.
  • Checks are accepted up to 14 days before the event date.
  • Damage and clean-up costs are deducted from the reservation deposit, depending on the reservation.
  • Cash or check payments are refunded in the form of a check issued by the City of Orlando and take 14 to 21 business days to process.
  • Debit/credit card payments will be credited back to the same card and takes 7 to 14 business days to process.

Cancellation Policy For All Reservations

  • Cancellations made the same day of making a reservation will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the date of the event will be subject to a 25% administrative fee, not to exceed $25.00.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the date of the event, all fees and charges will be forfeited.
