Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations recognize achievements of the Hispanic community in Orlando

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council will proclaim September 15 through October 15, 2023, as Hispanic Heritage Month in the City of Orlando.

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year throughout the country to recognize the culture and traditions of U.S. residents who trace their roots to Spain, Mexico and the Spanish speaking nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month reaffirms Orlando’s commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive city that embraces the differences of its residents. The city of Orlando is proud to dedicate this month and host events to celebrate the rich and diverse Hispanic culture and heritage within the community.
