Concept design of the future dog park at the Packing District

Orlando is a city for everyone, including our four-legged friends and we're preparing to add to our portfolio of dog friendly spaces with the new Packing District Dog Park. Designed to primarily serve residents of District 3 and District 5, the park will be located near the intersection of Princeton Street and Texas Avenue, near Orange Blossom Trail. It will be next to the City Park at the Packing District and the new Orlando Tennis Centre.

The design plan of the park currently includes:

  • Entry plaza with a double-gated entrance
  • Large dog area (+/- 1.5 acre)
  • Small dog area (+/- 1 acre)
  • Pavilion with seating area
  • Two shade shelters
  • Benches and seating
  • Dog drinking bowls
  • Drinking fountain for pet owners with bottle filter
  • Dog wash area
  • Entrance landscape
  • Black vinyl-clad, chain-link fencing and service gates
  • Palm and shade trees
