2019 Tree Lighting Celebration

Join the fun at Mayor Buddy Dyer’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration at Lake Eola Park. This free event features a ceremonial first lighting of Lake Eola Park’s 72-foot Christmas tree, live music and performances, vendor booths, and The Daily City’s Food Truck Bazaar serving delicious bites. This year the entire park will be filled with all new holiday decorations, perfect for capturing a family photo.

 The tree will be officially lit around 8 p.m.

Can't attend in person? News 6 WKMG will be streaming the Tree Lighting Celebration live on their website, clickorlando.com. They will also air an encore presentation of the tree lighting at 11 p.m. on News 6.

Come back to Lake Eola Park throughout the season to enjoy the Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree show, featuring synchronized lights and music. The show takes place every day at 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

Parking Information

Attendees are encouraged to use alternative modes of transportation to travel to the event including SunRail, ride share, bike share, carpooling and the free downtown LYMMO circulator.

Please note that the eastern (right) lane of Rosalind Avenue will be closed from Washington Street to Robinson Street on the day of the event.
