Orlando Police Department Change of Command Ceremony

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer cordially invites you to attend the Orlando Police Department Change of Command Ceremony for newly appointed Police Chief Eric D. Smith, and retirement of Police Chief Orlando Rolón, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 10 a.m.

The ceremony will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Steinmetz Hall located at 445 South Magnolia Avenue.

Please RSVP by Friday, August 19 if you plan to attend the ceremony in person. RSVPs are not required, but are encouraged. An RSVP does not guarantee a seat.

All attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat. Doors to the Steinmetz Hall will open at 9:45 a.m.

If you cannot attend, but would like to view the ceremony online, it will be available for viewing here.
