Contractor Registration Meeting

The City of Orlando Housing and Community Development Department is hosting a Contractor Registration Meeting on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 9 a.m.

  • The meeting will be held in person at Orlando City Hall, 400 South Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32802 on the 9th Floor, in the Fairview Conference Room.
  • Parking validation will be provided to attendees who park in the City Commons Parking Garage (460 Boone Avenue).
  • The meeting will also be held virtually via Zoom (see link below to register).

The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize general contractors, architects, engineers and specialty subcontractors (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing), interested in working on city-sponsored residential rehabilitation projects, with the rules, regulations, and specifications of the Housing Rehabilitation Program.

  • All general contractors, architects, engineers and specialty subcontractors must have valid licenses, certifications and insurance and be registered in the State of Florida to be eligible to apply for inclusion on the Rotating Contractor List for bidding. 
  • Attendance is mandatory for all general contractors, architects, engineers and specialty subcontractors wanting to be added to the Rotating Contractor List for bidding.
  • Contractors currently on the Rotating Contractor List are required to attend a Contractor Registration Meeting at least once every two (2) years to remain active. 
  • Applications for inclusion on the Rotating Contractor List will be available after the meeting.
