2023 City of Orlando Holiday Happenings

There is no more festive time of the year to experience the City of Orlando than the holiday season. Throughout November and December, the city is offering family-friendly holiday events and activities for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.

There is lots to enjoy this year, with several events including our annual Tree Lighting Celebration on December 1, and our second annual holiday drone show at Lake Eola Park on December 23. 

Additionally, don't miss the opportunity to show your support for local businesses by exploring the Merry Market, open every weekend in December and take advantage of the events happening in our Main Streets. 

Downtown Orlando will be shinning even brighter this year, with a new holiday light stroll stretching from Lake Eola and the Central Business District.

8th Annual Light Up SoDo

Get ready to experience Santa and Mrs. Claus, a holiday maker’s market, food trucks, food vendors, appearances from local SoDo businesses, the Bubble Bus, bounce houses, face painting, stilt walkers, beer and wine garden, live performances and much more!
