Are you looking for summer camp day camp for your child?

Register for a summer day camp program at one of 16 City of Orlando neighborhood centers. Activities can include swimming, crafts, field trips, computer labs and special events. Lunch and snacks are provided daily.

Recreation Summer Camp is for children 5-14 years old (must have completed Kindergarten, entering 1st grade through 8th grade). 

Registration Dates

Registration Dates: General registration begins Saturday April 6, 2019 at 9 a.m. and can be done in-person or online.

Early Registration: If your child is already enrolled in the After School Program, you can register early in-person at the neighborhood center you selected starting Monday, March 18.

Camp Dates

Camp Dates: June 3 – August 9 (10 weeks), closed July 4.
You do not have to enroll for the entire program and can choose which weeks your child attends.

Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

How much does it cost

City of Orlando Residents: $60 per week.
Qualified residents and city employees may be eligible for their child to attend for free through our Community Support Program.

Non-City Residents: $100 per week

Other Fees: All registered participants must have a camp T-shirt, which costs $5.33 per child. Field trips are extra and will vary by age.

If eligible, apply in person for the Community Support Program

City of Orlando residents and employees may be eligible for free summer camp. Use our locator tool to check if you live within city limits.

Visit the neighborhood center you're interested in between March 18 and April 6 and bring:

  • Two documents that prove you live in the City of Orlando (for example, driver’s license, water bill, cable bill, mortgage/lease, voter registration card, etc.)
  • Your EBT (Food Stamps) login information or your 2018 tax returns and W-2

Find the camp for the grade your child will be in the coming Fall school year.

Download the registration packets

Scroll down to the bottom of your selected summer camp's page and download the Camp and Parent Information Packets.

Select your summer camp week(s)

Click the "Add to Cart" button on your selected summer camp's page to choose which week(s) you want from the calendar.

Available weeks will be displayed with a green Check Mark.  If a week is not available, the word Full will be displayed in red.

Pay online

During checkout, you will be asked to sign a waiver and then given the option to pay in full or use our convenient weekly payment plan.

If you choose the payment plan, you will only pay for the first week and camp t-shirt at check-out.  Afterwards, your card will be charged at 12am each Friday before the week your child is attending camp.
