My Sister’s Keeper (MSK) is a group that was created to inspire and engage girls from the Paramore/Holden Heights area in middle and high school. The goal is to provide positive mentorship, expose girls to innovative experiences and to prepare girls for womanhood. In MSK we strive to focus on women’s wellness, education, personal growth, life skills, career development, and most of all, fun.
We believe that girls deserve a safe space to openly express themselves in a safe environment, to develop in areas of personal growth, and build strong bonds that will last a lifetime. Girls will have the opportunity to build confidence, improve their self-esteem, develop essential life skills and become successful leaders of tomorrow.
MSK targets girls in 8-12th grade who have a desire to be part of a community of their peers that supports and empowers them through different stages of growth and development while fostering a sisterhood.
MSK meetings will take place bi-weekly (every other Wednesday at 2 p.m.). The location may change depending on the activity planned and transportation needs.
