The City of Orlando has suspended accepting new applications for its Homebuyers Down Payment Assistance and its Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Programs until further notice.
The programs are supported by the Sadowski Affordable Housing Trust Fund from the State of Florida. We are currently waiting for confirmation from the State regarding our funding allocation for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The application process will reopen when adequate funding is received in the future.

Get copies of pay stubs for the members of your household and calculate your total household income.
Applications are currently closed.
If your application passes initial review, you will be placed on the program's wait list for assistance. Expect the city to follow up with you in three to six months. The city can only move as quickly as state and federal funds become available.
If you are eligible and funding becomes available, the city will send you a form to apply for specific improvements. You will have 30 days to return the application and provide all of the required documentation.
