The City of Orlando received $1.9 million in State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funding for affordable housing programs from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, for fiscal year 2021-2022. Applications are now open; instructions are below with links to apply online. This application period opened on December 3, 2021, and will end when all funds have been committed. The City of Orlando assists existing homeowners with repairs to help reduce safety and health-related code violations.
There are different levels of assistance based on the eligibility criteria and funding available.
