The proposed improvements to the Rosemont Neighborhood Center will increase capacity for community and sporting events.

Ground has been broken for the new Rosemont Neighborhood Center gymnasium. We anticipate minimal disruption at the center during construction. The new facility will include a 94 foot long by 50 foot wide court that can accommodate, NBA, WNBA, college and high school basketball games. The gym will also be available to other activities.

The city contracted McCree Builders as design builder with Rhodes + Brito to design the Rosemont Neighborhood Center improvements.

We will continue to keep you up to date on any changes as design continues.

The proposed improvements to the existing facility consist of the addition of a gymnasium. The gymnasium will be approximately 12,000 square foot. One of the outdoor basketball courts will stay in its current location. The other court will be relocated adjacent to the gymnasium facility. The gym will enclose two 84-foot regulation high school cross courts and a NBA full size court. The facility will house locker rooms, storage facilities, restrooms and retractable seating.
