Once a contractor is selected, and work begins, constituents will notice crews and equipment working in the street and the public right-of-way. Residents may experience closures and detours throughout the project.
There may be times when a driveway is temporarily unavailable as the project progresses. However, the contractor will work with homeowners and make certain access is maintained. There is potential for a temporary restriction for on-street parking once the project begins.
Solid waste, recycling, mail and other services will continue uninterrupted. Should an emergency occur, first responders and emergency vehicles will have priority access.
