Carver Shores Sewer Repairs

Last updated on May 20, 2020

The week of June 8, 2020, the city's Public Works Department will perform sanitary sewer point repairs in the Carver Shores neighborhood. The repairs are necessary to address deficiencies identified during proactive routine inspections of the city's sanitary sewer system. Constituents do not need to prepare for these repairs. We do not anticipate sanitary sewer service interruptions once the project starts. We expect to complete the project in 30 days.

Once the project is underway, constituents will notice city crews on the following streets: Karyn Court, Frazier Avenue, Poppy Avenue, and Lescot Lane. To make the necessary repairs road closures will be necessary. Residents will have access to their driveway throughout the project. There may be times when a driveway is impacted temporarily. City crews will notify and coordinate with the impacted resident should this occur. Solid waste, recycling, and other services will continue as scheduled. Should an emergency occur, first responders and emergency vehicles will have priority access.

Project hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There may be opportunities for weekend work but we do not plan on working at night. It is not uncommon for our crews to appear, leave, and return again. City crews may also move from one location to another within the neighborhood throughout the repair process. Please know, adverse weather and unforeseen circumstance can create delays or increase the project's duration.
