In late Summer 2021, the city's contractor JMD Global will rehabilitate the brick pavers on Delaney Avenue between Annie Street and Briercliff Drive. Cathcart Construction Company will also use this opportunity to replace existing water mains at previously identified locations. We expect the contractor to complete this project in two months.

Please be advised, adverse weather and unforeseen circumstances can create delays, prolonging the project.

During the project, OUC will use this opportunity to replace several previously identified water mains.

There is a possibility OUC may need to interrupt potable water services for pressure and chlorination test intermittently. Should this occur, Cathcart Construction Company will notify and coordinate with impacted residents. Should a resident experience longer than anticipated outages, property owners may contact OUC at 407.423.9018.

Project hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Should JMD Global Developers or OUC experience unforeseen circumstances, work may occur on Saturdays only, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

There is potential for traffic delays, lane shifts and temporary road closures. There may be times when a property owner’s driveway or entrance will be impacted as the project progresses. JMD Global Developers will coordinate with property owners when necessary to help maintain access to the immediate area.

Should an emergency occur, first responders and emergency vehicles will have priority access. The city’s contractor and OUC will coordinate with the city’s Solid Waste Division to maintain it solids waste collection schedule. In the unlikely event a missed collection does occur, a resident may dial 407.246.2314, and the city’s Solid Waste Division will make another attempt.
